Leavenworth, Bavarian Village in Washington State beneath the towering Cascade Mountains

Here are some more pictures of this quaint "Bavarian" town. It really is quite amazing. I've always wanted to go to Germany, after 4 years of high school German and 1 year of College German, my dreams have sort of come true. There were even old men walking around in laderhosen, another dream come true (not.)

Happy 4th of July!!!!

This year our family went out on a limb and traveled to Bavaria, Germany to celebrate the 4th (or maybe it was just Leavenworth, Washington?) Anyway, it doesn't really matter... we had a great time eating bratwurst and red cabbage even if it was just 4 hours from home.
